What can I do for free on Discover?
You can import your family tree, analyze it, search open archives, and try AI actions with 100 starting credits. Discover includes data export, but not full book generation or the final print-ready PDF.
Do I need a subscription to get a printed book?
You need a completed digital book before ordering print. Your subscription gives you access to the workshop where you build it. Printed copies are ordered separately through our print partner, with print cost, shipping and tax shown before checkout.
What are AI credits?
AI credits are included with your plan and used for larger actions in the workshop — generating a book draft, revising chapters, and creating draft previews. You always see the credit cost before confirming an action.
Is the final PDF included?
No — the final, watermark-free PDF is a one-time purchase, separate from your subscription, and is not paid with AI credits. Once you buy it, you can re-download that version anytime at no extra cost. The watermarked draft preview you use while building the book is included with your plan.
