Export your tree from WikiTree

WikiTree members can export a GEDCOM file — WikiTree's help describes it as a way to keep a copy or to move a tree elsewhere. You need to be logged in.

Step by step

  1. Log in to WikiTree.
  2. Open WikiTree's help page "Exporting a GEDCOM" and click "Click here to export a GEDCOM".

Good to know

  • The export page itself — its options, limits and what the file contains — is shown only to signed-in members, so this guide doesn't describe it. WikiTree's help page is the reference.
